Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our Gen-Y Hitch Aluminum Loading Ramp, six foot long, 15 inches wide, rated at an impressive 10,000 pounds capacity. That's right, folks. These are a hundred percent aluminum, so they're lightweight, durable, and corrosion resistant. Made here in the US, they are straight loading ramps.
They're gonna let you load heavy equipment vehicles or just wheeled equipment up onto your trailer or perhaps in the bed of your truck. Now, right now I've got this on a 36-inch tall tabletop. That is the max deck requirement that you're allowed to use on this 36 inches. So, you can see that down angle or up angle, depending on which way you're looking. And that's the max you wanna be.
The lowest you wanna be is 15 inches. They're pretty lightweight. Again, all aluminum, about 31 pounds apiece. Again, they're six foot long, 15 inches wide. And if I flip this one a little bit, you can kinda see a little better.
You have serrated rungs here. Those are gonna help provide grip whenever you're going up there with the wheels and stuff, even if it's wet. And the gradual incline with the divots in between will help get you up there with ease. Now, the hook here on the end and that's gonna be great for grabbing the end of the trailer. I've just got 'em on the tabletop here today.
And then at the base you have a curved edge here. There you go. That's gonna help you get up and onto the ramps with ease as well. And coming down from the top, I wanna see a little bit better those rungs. So, very nice. As far as the thickness of these ramps, you can see they're pretty wide. Let's get a quick measurement on that for you. So, roughly three inches before you add the rungs on top. And one other thing to point out on this, on these measurements, excuse me. So, I mentioned six feet long. Now that's the actual, what I would call the support structure of that ramp is that six foot. If you go down to the full end to end, it's a little over but not by much. So, about an eight inch difference. So, just kinda keep that in mind if you're looking at space and those kind of things. So again, these are a great set aluminum. Made here in the US. Very sturdy curved base is gonna help you get up onto the deck of the trailer or truck. Folks, that is gonna wrap it up for our quick look together. I'm Steven.
